The fairy's got a secret...

What do you suppose it is? These fairies, although small in size, are HUGE in knowledge. Most people don't even think they exist. That's just part of our human vanity. Once we get outside our heads, maybe our minds will be accepting of the knowledge that comes naturally to these tiny little creatures.

What do you think her secret is?
16x24" Mixed media and acrylic on stretched canvas.

I tried to take an angle shot so that you could see all the beautiful, irridescent glitter everywhere, but I'm not sure it was effective! In real life, it's rich in colour and has fairy dust EVERYWHERE!!!

Thanks girls!

Doing my best, Em! I've not been too inspired this week, so this helped. I kept wanting to stop painting, but I knew I had to make a post today...so I finished it!

WEll you wouldn't know you weren't inspired!! That is really interesting and not something easy to make look that good. See- this challenge is kicking my butt and making me do things I would normally put off. Love it!

I´m going to try papier mache today. My brother and his girlfriend are going to have a baby in August, so my mom and me put wallpaper on the baby´s room and we got stuck with a lot of wallpaperglue.. Years ago at school we used that kind of glue for papiermache, so I took it home and now I´m going to try it, hehe.. I´m going to make some kind of japanese doll I think, and when I get better at it, I want to make a Bullterrier, like my own dog :-).

With love :-)
