My friend Emily has started this wonderful initiative to get artists inspired to create new work weekly! You should visit her blog and join in on the fun!Anyone who wants inspiration should really commit to this! It's a great idea! But anyhow, this is my submission for the week! It's a 20x16 mixed media piece. I seldom do landscapes, so I hope you like it!
And even my little one, Sisi decided to join in on the fun! Here's her submission for week 2!
Oh my gosh I LOVE it!! The way you use color is fantastic and I love trees. I adore trees so this is right up my alley. My camera will not upload my pics and I am getting so mad. My post should be up soon!
ReplyDeleteK- its up!! go add your link girly!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!!!! I wish I could paint, I can hardly do stick figures with my kids! :) Amazing!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, everyone!
ReplyDeleteGreat trees! :-) That seems like a lot of fun. And I love Sisi's art. <3.
ReplyDeleteI love your art, it makes me happy, and I missed your blog A LOT because I spend a lot of time sick in bed the last days.. :-(
So now it's 0:12 and I really need to go to sleep but couldn't help checking what you have been creating :-) GLAD I DID.
Caellum - thank you!! I'm glad they make you happy!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything's ok with you! Nothing serious??? Get well!!

Love those trees, i agree with Emily you have a wonderful way with colour, nice to see you doing landscapes too!
ReplyDeleteMy dictionary says that the word in English is: Sinusitis
ReplyDeleteThat's what I have, lol, but I believe I feel a little better today :-)
Thanks Nicola! I do love colour!!
ReplyDeleteCaellum - well I sure hope that it passes quick. I've been feeling nasty, too. I'm constantly blowing my nose and sneezing. Boo!! And all night I dream about drinking water and my thirst not getting quenched. I've been breathing through my mouth because I can't breathe through my nose! Blech!
What a beautiful piece. Painting is an art I dream of learning someday, but am so far from it. Thanks for sharing your project.
ReplyDeleteDarci - thank you!
