Colleen - I'm honoured that you would comment on my fairy. Your art dolls are astounding and I fell in love instantly!! I do a lot of papier mache (the traditional newspaper layers) and the wire and newspaper armature is what I've always done! I just twist wires in the lengths on torsos, legs, arms and then build it up with bunches of newspaper! Then, of course, I add the layers of paper clay :) Your interest in this makes me think that there's an easier way! I think I'm going to peruse your blog a little bit for tips!
